Deliveries


GA Cycles offer express delivery to anywhere in the UK or Ireland. For UK orders we use Royal Mail First Class. This means that your goods will usually arrive the next working day for most of the UK mainland. If your delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland, we'll use DHL if the items are heavy

We have no minimum order value and most packages are dispatched the day you order. We also offer a range of guaranteed time specific postage options, details of which you can find below.

APPROXIMATE DISPATCH TIME
Bike orders will take 3-4 working days as require a Pre Delivery Inspection prior to dispatch

For offline orders items will be shipped once funds have cleared.

All other 'In Stock' orders that are received by GA Cycles before 3pm GMT, placed online or ordered by telephone should be dispatched the same day, remaining items will be shipped as they become available.

Any orders received after 3pm GMT or during the weekend should be dispatched the following working day.

Delivery times may be extended, depending on where exactly you live. Please allow up to 4-5 working days at busy periods.

Paid for next day postage will only cover any 'in stock' items in the order, back ordered items also in an order will be sent using a standard service once available

Please note: Deliveries cannot be made to PO Box addresses

Royal Mail 1st Class
FREE OF CHARGE 1st class postage with NO signature required on delivery. Used for smaller packages that can usually fit through your letterbox. Orders usually arrive next working day, although occasionally delays can occur. No tracking information available. Royal Mail Special Delivery 1pm Guaranteed next working day delivery by 1pm or a full refund of any postage charges paid. Signature required on delivery, best used for urgent packages under 2kgs. Online tracking information is available. Deliveries from Monday to Friday. For delivery on Saturday select the Saturday Guaranteed option. Due to adverse weather conditions affecting many parts of the UK Royal Mail has suspended the next day guarantee on this service.

Privacy & Security


To process your order, we require your name, billing address, phone number, email address and credit card information. We use this information to process your order and, if any questions should arise, to contact you about your order. If we need to contact you, we will contact you via email first. If unsuccessful (or time is critical), we will try to contact you by phone. GA CYCLES is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users while providing the highest possible level of service. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

Any information provided by you will be used for GA Cycles purposes only. However, GA Cycles may need to provide your name and delivery address to third parties that are involved in the processing of your order uses for delivering specific services to you (for example, the financial institution that issued your credit card or the courier that delivers your order).

Your information will not be shared with individual or other companies (such as direct mail organizations or other third parties) unless required by law.

There are times when we may request information from you, such as your, name, address and e-mail address. When additional information is requested, we will try to let you know at the time of collection how we intend to use the personal information you provide, such as respond to your inquiry, accept an order, conduct a survey or allow you to access specific information such as account information, etc.

We do our best to maintain the accuracy of any personal information you do supply to us.
You can help keep us here at GA Cycles up to date by  updating and maintain the accuracy of any personal information you supply by using the account profile pages or notifying us of any changes to your address, title, phone number or e-mail address.

Returns & Replacements


GA Cycles conform to the Distance Selling Regulations, which are designed to protect you when buying items by Mail Order. We offer a flexible returns policy and are happy to accept items back for a refund or exchange if you've ordered the wrong item, the items are damaged or faulty upon receipt or you simply changed your mind. As long as the item is not fitted or used we will be happy to receive it back for a refund or exchange.

Goods must be in original packaging and packed to prevent damage during transit. To speed up your return the products should be accompanied with a completed Refund/Exchange Form. 

WHAT HAPPENS THEN?
We will notify you via e-mail upon receipt of goods.

We will carry out your instructions as indicated on your returns form (subject to stock availability).

Full monetary refund will be issued for all items returned within 30 days of receipt

RETURNING BIKES
A bike will be accepted back on the condition that it is unused and of saleable quality.

Bikes must be returned in the original packaging and packed so that it prevents damage during transit. To speed up your return you should send it back with a completed Refund/Exchange form.

Please Contact Us prior to returning a bike to ensure that we can advise you on the best and cheapest method of getting the bike back to us.

Custom built bikes will be accepted back with a 15% of the initial order cost levied on an exchange or refund to cover cost of construction and dismantling.

WHAT HAPPENS THEN?
On receipt and inspection of the bike and we will e-mail you to confirm details of the refund.

NOTE: Please do not tape up, or attach labels direct to the retail packaging, please wrap the product first. Postage is non-refundable.

INCORRECT ITEMS
Believe it or not we do make mistakes on the odd occasion! We are only human after all if we have sent you out a part which is different to what is listed on your invoice we will be happy to make an exchange and pay your first class postage costs for returning the item to us.

Goods should be accompanied with a completed returns form.

You must notify us within 7 days of receipt.

Goods must be in original packaging.

Goods must not be fitted or used.

Please include a postal receipt

We will refund postage costs but only Royal Mail 1st Class or Standard Parcels for larger items.

You may send goods back to us using Priority or Guaranteed services but we can only refund the approximate 1st class postage cost.

We will notify you via e-mail upon receipt of goods.

We will carry out your instructions as indicated on your returns form (subject to stock availability) then refund any standard postage costs to you.

Ordering


FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS

We do everything in our power to ensure that your goods arrive in perfect condition but if there is a problem, with faulty or damaged goods then please Contact Us so that we can deal with it as quickly as possible.

All goods purchased from GA Cycles are coved by a full manufactures warranty.

If you feel that the products you have purchased from GA Cycles has developed a fault then please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs.

Warranties only cover manufacturing faults and defects including poor workmanship.

Goods must be clean and hygienic for inspection.

Please be honest when dealing with us, we will try our best to resolve any problem you have as it is in our interest to have a happy customer!

WHAT HAPPENS THEN?
In all instances we will carry out a warranty inspection & contact you within 24 hours of receipt.

Warranty claims will now be assessed in house by our team of CYTEC certified technicians.

We will examine your returned item and highlight the options available to you within 24 hrs of receiving your claim.

If your claim is found to be a warranty issue and we stock the item or required parts we can repair/replace your item from our own stock to enable you to get back to biking ASAP.

All warranty services including Bike Rebuilds/Parts Fitting/Wheel builds and Repairs are first in queue and highest priority in our workshop. Current workshop turnaround times are 72 hrs.

If deemed a warranty issue and a repair are not possible we will carry out your instructions as per your warranty claim form.

However in many instances the Manufacturer/Supplier requires us to return the item back for a thorough examination by them before repair or replacement can take place.

If this is the case we will inform you of approximate turnaround times. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of courier delays and individual warranty turnaround times at supplier.

We ask for your patience at this time. Current average timeframes for back to supplier warranty claims are seven to ten working days but may take longer.

We will liaise with the supplier and work hard to keep your claim moving swiftly towards its conclusion.

Should the claim go on longer than expected we will CONTACT YOU at the three-week stage with an update saving you time and money.

As all direct replacements from suppliers are subject to availability we will endeavour to find a suitable replacement from our stock.

ITEMS DEEMED NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
If you require a second opinion about a rejected warranty we will be happy to send the product directly to supplier and furnish you with any factual evidence to support our findings.

Servicing and additional parts needed to repair the product are payable by you and will be carried out only once you have permitted us to do so.

Postage for all rejected warranty will be payable by you.

Crash replacement may also be available at a reduced price for a certain items. Please ask.

WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER Failure or damage due to misuse such as, but not limited to incorrect installation, poor maintenance, abuse or neglect, using the product for something other than its intended purpose, alteration of the product

General wear and tear on tyres, inner tubes, brakes, brake and gear cables, brake pads, light bulbs, chain rings, chains, cassettes, rims, batteries etc.

Corrosion and/or deterioration caused by material fatigue defined as the natural breakdown of materials that occurs after extended use will not be covered under warranty

Usage during competitions, events, circuits or activities other than those for which the bicycle/component has been conceived will greatly reduce its useful life and is not covered under warranty.

Costs incurred as a result of loss of use, as well as labour charges for part replacement or changeovers are not covered.

WARRANTY TERMS
After the initial 30-day period GA Cycles Reserve the right to repair/replace any defective part under warranty.

Warranty is non transferrable and applies to the original purchaser only.

Proof of purchase is required with all potential warranty claims.

Any item that is repaired or replaced under warranty will be covered by a period equal to the remaining warranty period of the original part.

If near the end of a given warranty period and a repair/replacement is not possible GA Cycles reserve the right to offer.

a. An alternative of equal or greater value (colour may vary) or

b. A Partial refund proportional to the remaining life of the product.

Always install, repair and use your product in accordance with the manufactures instructions, failure to do so might damage the products and cause a serious accident. If you are not sure off something contact us or take it to your local bike shop for assistance

Custom built wheels will be accepted back with a reasonable 15% charge per wheel on an exchange or refund, to cover the time and effort absorbed in building the wheel.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions


GA Cycles accept most major credit cards for online orders. We use Sage Pay secure online payment secured using the same internationally recognized 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government.

You will be asked to enter your card details and the name and the address of the cardholder when you place the order. These details will be checked and we may hold an order until we receive the correct details.

You will be contacted if we find the card or address details to be incorrect. We only bill your card when your order is ready to be dispatched

For offline orders GA Cycles accept (£) Sterling Postal Orders, Sterling Bank Drafts and Bank Transfers in Sterling (£). We recommend that you do not send cash through the post. Due to varying Exchange Rates all payments made to GA Cycles must be in UK Pounds (£) Sterling (Excluding bank transfers). Items will be shipped once funds have cleared.

For orders placed from within the UK prices include VAT (Value Added Tax)* charged at the current rate.

How to Order


HOW TO ORDER FROM GA CYCLES We at GA Cycles have made ordering so easy that we don't think you'll need any instructions but here they are, just in case
  1. Find an item you like
  2. Scroll down the page until you see "add this item to your basket"
  3. Choose the colour/size, if applicable
  4. Click the "add to basket" button
  5. You can check the contents of your basket and the total cost at any time by clicking on the “my basket" link at the top right of the page
  6. You can remove items from your basket or alter the quantity required at any time
  7. Click the "Proceed to checkout" button when you finish shopping
  8. You will be asked to “Sign in” or “create an account “fill out all your details on the secure form
  9. You will be asked to choose your delivery address
  10. You will then be asked to choose a delivery method
  11. Fill out your card details in the secure form provided by Sage Pay using 256-bit encryption
  12. Confirm your order details by clicking the “Place Order” button to complete your order
  13. You can now print off a confirmation invoice.

GA Cycles is a UK based retailer and complies with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations. This means that shopping with us is safe. You have the right to cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched, (see Returns) up to 7 days from receipt.
